A Message About Our Practice's Future
Dr. Raji Haddad is sharing an important update with our patients and introducing Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, DDS, who has taken over the practice.
Dear Valued Patients,
It has been the honor of my career to serve as your dentist here at First Family Dental. Over the years, I've come to know so many of you not just as patients, but as friends, and I'm deeply grateful for the trust you've placed in me.
I'm writing to share an important update. After many years of practice, I have made the decision to retire. As part of my planning for this transition, I spent considerable time searching for the right dentist to take over the practice and continue providing you with the quality, personal care you've come to expect.
I'm pleased to introduce Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, DDS, who has taken over the practice. Dr. Kaur earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska, after completing a Post-Baccalaureate Dentistry program there as well. Before dental school, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Science at California State University, Fresno, and holds an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from Fresno City College.
What I find especially wonderful about Dr. Kaur is the breadth of experience she brings to this practice. Before becoming a dentist, she worked as a dental assistant and later as a Registered Dental Hygienist, giving her a unique, ground-level understanding of patient care from nearly every perspective of the dental office. After earning her dental degree, she also worked for a couple of years as an associate dentist in Indiana, where she treated patients of all ages and developed a strong, well-rounded clinical foundation before returning home to the Central Valley. Few dentists bring such a comprehensive, full-circle perspective to patient care—as a dental assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist, and associate dentist, and now as your dentist here in the Central Valley. That experience is reflected in the thoughtful, compassionate, and personalized care she provides to every patient.
Dr. Kaur brings hands-on experience providing comprehensive general dentistry, including exams, restorations, root canals, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and extractions. She is warm, thorough, and easy to talk to, and she is especially skilled with patients who feel anxious or fearful about dental visits - something I know matters to many of you. She is also diligent about screening for the early signs of oral cancer at every visit, reflecting the same thorough, prevention-focused approach I've always tried to bring to your care.
I chose Dr. Kaur because I have complete confidence in her clinical skill, her genuine care for patients, and her commitment to maintaining the same quality of care and welcoming environment you've always found here. Having gotten to know her, I can tell you she is exactly the kind of caring, capable dentist I hoped to find to carry this practice forward - and I am fully confident she will care for you and your family the same way I have tried to for all these years.
To help make this changeover as smooth as possible, I will be staying on at the practice for a short period of time to assist with the transition before I fully step away.
Thank you again for the trust, friendship, and support you've given me over the years. It has meant more to me than words can say. I'm grateful to be able to introduce her to you myself, and I'll now let her share a few words of her own.

A Note From Dr. Kaur
Thank you, Dr. Haddad, for such a warm introduction, and for the trust you've placed in me to carry forward the practice you've built with such care. I want to let you know that our entire team is staying exactly the same - the familiar faces you see at the front desk and in the treatment rooms will still be here, and we will continue to treat every one of you with the same warmth, attention, and respect you've always received. My goal is to build on the wonderful foundation Dr. Haddad created, not to change what already works.
